It's a MOTORCYCLE CLUTCH ASSEMBLY for a Harley-Davidson "big twin". The hole in the middle is tapered with a key, not splined, so it must be before 1992. The coil springs were discontinued in 1984, when they went to a diaphragm spring, so it's 1983 or earlier.
