This is a Sandvik Capto face mill extension. It is used to mount a face milking cutter onto a milking machine when the reach must be extended several inches. This particular tool is worn out and would probably not be capable of being used for high precision work based on the wear pattern visible in the black oxide coating on the tapered polygon on the right.
