Opinions
This is a top plate to an air conditioning compressor made by Denso. It contains two electronic control valves for cycling the high and low pressure ports during operation. This unit was used in multiple applications, likely automotive or heavy equipment.

Denso manufacturers A/C pumps for many different vehicles. I can't tell you what specific vehicle it is for but it is the "Compressor HEAD" for the top high and low side sensors to the AC system. The Brown plug is the High Side sensor of the compressor and the Black plug is the low side sensor plug. "It is like the top of an single cylinder engine where you would normally see a spark plug that the best description I can give you. I've replaced those rubber gaskets before on many different models.
