This is a transmission output gear for a Harley Davidson 6-speed transmission. This fits the big twin engine bikes from 2006 on up.

Reason: I think you're on the right track, but the shaft in your link is much shorter than the unidentified item. The teeth count don't match either, as this is 44 gear and 30 spline shaft
